Hello Summer

Since last summer I was pregnant about the whole time I am excited to just feel the regular temperature outside. Last year it felt like a thousand degrees hotter than it actually was. I guess the saying 'bun in the oven' is literal in that sense. So today it was probably about 85 out and so we met my friends Erin, her babe Ryder & Joanie up at Greer pool. This pool is awesome because it is a one footer. Karson LOVED it!

It is that time of year again.

Easter Weekend

So we had a very eventful Easter weekend. Well Friday we just stayed in and watched the Laker game with a $6 garlic chicken pizza from CPK so not too thrilling but it's weird how sometimes those are my favorite nights. Everyone's home safe and it's just relaxing (if the Lakers are winning). Oh also I made an Easter cake which was very momish of me.




Put up the little vanilla sticks.. which I didn't buy enough of so I had to run to my second home to pick up some more.


As if chocolate frosting doesn't make everything good, crushed oreos always pulls through.

Anyways to continue on with my weekend the next day which was Saturday, the day after Friday the day before Sunday (shout out to Rebecca Black).. was a family Easter party at Dannys parents.

Mommy lovin time


So this worked out perfectly because we had a bridal shower to go to and Dannys mom didn't want Karson to leave the Easter party so she babysat him. We are really lucky and both our parents would take Karson any day of the week. But anyways so then we headed off to Dannys good friend Jons bridal shower.. which was obviously a joint bridal shower for Nadia & Jon. Their friends put it on for them and they live in La Cresta on a horse ranch and the place was seriously AMAZING. It was so nice of them to have everyone over there and it was such a great time!

Well to be honest I don't know a whole lot of horses but this horse was so nice and polite.. well he was sweet I guess. He had braids and just let us love on him.

K so we left there then met our friends at good ole Buffalo Wild Wings.. wished you were there Rachy.


Then finally it was Easter! Danny worked all day, my mom went to Santa Barbara with Lauren, and my dad and Jake went to my grandmas. So it was just me and Kars. We went to church then he got to open an egg before daddy got home..

Then daddy got home and we had a great night eating candy and playing with hide n seek with the eggs!

Lunch Date

So today we went with my dear friend Desirae to meet Kylee half way (it's further for her but she's a champ). But Kylee, coming from Orange County got stuck on the stupid 91 so she wasn't able to make it. :( It's okay though me Des and Karson had a grand time and we'll be able to reschedule with Kylee Sue. Anyways it was the Bj's off the Cajalco exit so the exit before is none other than Dos Lagos. So we did some shopping and I got some cute new sandals, they totally had my name on em. But seriously they were called 'Jana'. How I love you Bakers! And then a cute new shirt for Easter. Which will be in my Easter post :) Anywhooters I had a great time with my girlfriend Des and I'm so happy for our outings. AND that she will be at stagecoach this next week along with all my best girlfriend! Can't waiiiit!

Successful shopping day and figured I should probably show off one of my other birthday presents.. Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag. I've had a boxy one this whole time and decided I needed a new one and this one is just as spacious and I couldn't be happier about it!

We got some cutie visitors today.. None other than Teegan & Tenley Smith. As if their faces aren't already the cutest things ever their outfits are completely adorable too. I truly love these little girlies.

Play Time

Today was play time for the mommy and auntie. We went shopping for some Stagecoach dresses for Auntie Norm. We went to Kohls and I got a cute shirt and Norm got a cutie little dress. That place sure surprises us every time. Some cute finds. Anyways then off to my home away from home..

Karson was so good today. He slept the whole time we clothes shopped then woke up when we got to super targs and was happy as a clam. Now I need to go return my redbox I've had for like a week. Sad that I watched it the first night then just keep forgetting to bring it back. Oooo and tomorrow I'm hanging out with my good ole friends Kylee and Desirae down in Newport. So.freaking.exciting!

My Babes

It's so funny to me how I can buy Karson a new toy and he only wants to play with Jakes squirt gun or a spoon or anything that he's not suppose to. He loves car keys so I bought him plastic keys from babies r us. He'll play with them for two seconds then just wonder on to something he's not allowed to play with. So what I have been doing is putting his toys in places that are hard to reach or just with other things he's not allowed to have and then he totally loves them and plays with them. I don't get it. I guess he's just a baby and that's what babies do.





Ahh I can't believe he's almost 8 months old. A lot of people told me 'don't blink' because it goes by so fast. Well I have tried not blinking but my eyes burned and it just wasn't the way to go. Love that little cutie booty.



On another note. Went to Panera for lunch with my mama. I wish it wasn't in Temecula because it is oh so delicious. But then again it might be a good thing it's that far because I would be a regular. Anyways Kars woke up half way through the meal---side thought: he always wakes up when I'm eating or about to eat. I don't know what it is but that kid just can sense that I'm about to intake food and he'll just wake up and want to be held. So I guess I've gotten real good at eating one handed with my body turned away so he can't grab the food or knock over the drink. He loves to do that.---anyways he wakes up and is not happy because he wasn't ready to wake up but you know he is obligated to awake from slumber as I have food. So I get him out and then he looks around, then locks eyes with the cutest old couple there and starts flirting with them. I know I'm the kids mother but this babe has got some BIG beautiful baby blues. Anyways so he flirts with them then the ladies behind us then the people that work there and then every other person he could get his eyes on. He is a flirt in a half. Must have gotten that quality from his father..
